BEST instructions specifically for the way the boxing is attached. I've torn my hair out (and many seams) following other videos that showed sewing the boxing in one continuous piece before sewing to front and back panels. The solution here is brilliant!

I’m so happy to find no sew options. Should I use fabric glue to ensure ends don’t pop out? Or if I’ve done it correctly there’s no chance of any pop outs ?

Incredibly informative video. After watching this, I looked up our couch and found it only used 1.8 density foam, which is why it's already feeling unsupportive after 2 years. I'm 220 lbs, and I'll be looking into 2.3 - 2.7 range from now on. Thank you so much for this!

This is the best DIY video I have ever seen. Excellent teacher! FYI, instead of using cotton, my husband had a big box of little 2” joining dowels which were perfect for holding the knot in place. Can be used again and again. Just thought I’d share. Thank you for your wonderful instruction.

Great video. I am a bit confused about box strip. On your cut diagram it is 64 inches. On the actual lay out there is one strip that is 54 inches and another that simply says "box" with no dimentions. Is that supposed to be 10 inches, sewn to the longer strip? Sorry I am a beginner to upholstry sewing.

This was fun to watch. It makes me realize how having a professional setup makes things so much easier. I was surprised to see the side hems stapled. Why staples instead of pinning in place? What happens to the staples when the hems are sown in?
